I don't believe that is oil. It looks like coolant, and if it is coming from the intercooler, it is most likely coolant. Not saying you can't have leaking oil show up in that area, because that all depends on where it is leaking, what it is dripping onto, is it traveling down hoses/lines, and whatever other action it takes to get from the highest point (the leaking spot) to the lowest point (the ground). That is gravity at work!

thinking on this more, it could be oil from the A/C system, especially if there is leak-detecting UV dye in it as it is usually green or yellow in color. Hard to tell by the pic though. and A/C performance issues?

Isnt the MG coolant blue in color? I think you either bought this used where someone has the wrong fluid in the cooling system (intercooler or engine coolant), or this is not coolant. Definitely not oil though

BTW, that is a pic of the AC condenser(note the oil cooler in the foreground), not the intercooler heat exchanger. the heat exchanger is on the right side of the car and behind a black plastic cover with an oddly shaped hole in it of which this pic is not. Leading me to think it is AC oil with green UV dye in it.
Could be an o-ring leaking, or it is possible that a rock has punctured the condenser...

Damn Nota that is some serious photo detective work, you should go work for the NRO!
Whatever fitting that is, it looks a little oily so that would be my first stop. Clean it up and see if it reappears. Also try touching the drips, I would think glycol feels different than refrigerant oil.
Sucks, car this new shouldnt be leaking like some old El Camino.
