just have my frist 2nd hand e63
hi guyz,new to here.just bought my 2014 e63 non s month ago.
till now im so happy with amg.
here are some question for my first service,i went to the local dealer for A service, and just done the engine oil changed ,its too rip off!
so i decide to buy parts from somewhere and find a workshop to do it with reasonable price.
the pads i bought for front and rear is different brand, there are icer brake and textar.
are they any good?
and i bought the air cleaner element also the cabin air filter they are from hengst.
my question is those oem parts are the same from Mercedes dealship?or its always the myth we will never found out?
thanks for reading and sorry for my english.

Not sure what icer pads are buts texture are ok but a little hard, the texture e-pads are way better
filters are oem
i know the rotors are probably expensive but I would replace them as well when you do the pads, look for Zimmerman rotors

thank you Mhoughland,so if the pads last 2 years just for normal drive in town, rotor need to replace as well?

Not necessarily need to, but the brakes just work better when pads and rotors are replaced together. No chance of Noise or vibration that way
however I have seen people just put the pads on and be happy with them.
I just like to replace rotors and pads together and be done with it for a few years, no problems
thats just me though

Looks like a Napa box.
I would send them back and get some good brake pads. It is an e63. I like the oem pads but they cost a lot and dust like crazy or akebono. Also don’t forget to get the sensors

Hengst will fit but very poorly. It is shaped differently and uses different construction to seal. It also does not use the upper pins correctly. I tried Hengst and Bosch and both were no good. I then went Mercedes and was good to go. It's only about $3 more.

You can try this but is interestingly half the price of others.

I bought mine for $35 shipped but just went back to check if its available and it is not. I bought mine on Amazon. A quick search shows closer to $50 shipped. You can try your filter and see if it installs well. The biggest issue is the filter will not seat well and the ends bulge out even after the white clamp is in place.
