K-MAC align kit

Has the car lowered and dealing with negative camber. Has anyone actually install this K-MAC align kit? I don't think it's a cheap and simple replacement so I would like to hear some inputs from owners who actually installed it. Thanks.

New car industry it is all about “constant, ongoing development” – and it is exact same in the “aftermarket”.

Do realize there is always only Ronin’s point of view. But in our defense taking on the role of resolving OEM short comings by inventing, producing “bolt-on front and rear alignment adjuster kits” – FOR EVERY SINGLE MODEL MERCEDES BENZ 1968 TO 2020 – Sedans, Coupes, SUV’s, AMG, Black and Lite commercials …. does indeed open ourselves to controversy!

But we do find it a whole lot better – than doing nothing flawlessly (and as Ferdinand Porsche stated and recently echoed by Elon Musk “if you do not make a mistake – you are not really trying”).

Ronin front Camber bushes were fitted back in 2017 and at the time “this particular mount was 3 piece”. In manufacture for 22 years and well and truly proven including all out competition racing. But normal procedure – bolts must be fully tight and if “excessive force” at time of actual adjustment – a center could separate. Ronin's picture shows this is what happened at initial installation.

ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING CAN BE IMPROVED (and it is all about making products bullet proof). We therefore after Ronin input came up with a design breakthrough WHERE CENTER NOW IS ONE INTEGRAL UNIT. No matter what force applied center cannot separate. Along with a fail safe lock system. Ronin was then offered this entirely new design or a full refund.


Now instead of “lower arm adjusters” Ronin is currently promoting “upper wishbone adjustment” (which we also manufacture) .

Complete background to “Upper Wishbone Adjusters”:

1. Note - They do not apply to any W212 / AMG models – as (unlike the W213 E63) front suspension is MacPherson Strut, not upper wishbone.

2. At KMAC we therefore manufacture “Replacement Top Strut Mounts” for the W212 (along with every Mercedes “Strut” model) Camber (and also Caster) adjustable.


For W212 /AMG:

STAGE 2 (Street / Race) #502916-2L or Stage 3 (Full Race) #502916-3L

Also for W212 / AMG Front lower arm Camber (and Caster) bush adjuster kit #502916K (and kits for every other model). Replacing the 4 lower arm / highest wearing bushings at the same time. The front thrust arm (Caster) bushings are also Mono ball / 2 Axis significantly improving brake and steering response.


3. FRONT “UPPER WISHBONE MODELS” (Example every Mercedes model 2002-2020 – W205, W211, W213, C217, W219, R230, R231, C238, C253, C257, C292, W164, W166, W167, W251).

WITH KMAC NOT WELDED, FABRICATED ARMS (PROVIDING CAMBER ADJUSTMENT ONLY) – BUT THE SECURITY, PEACE OF MIND OF OEM DESIGN - USING “HIGH STRENGTH FORGED ALLOY’ (WITH “CASTER” ADJUSTMENT AS WELL). CASTER NEEDED TO COMPENSATE FOR THE CAMBER CHANGE AND TO CORRECTLY RESOLVE STEERING PULL!

ALTERNATELY BUDGET PRICED ($380- both sides – less than cost of one high performance tire). UPPER / INNER WISHBONE BUSHINGS providing up to precise 1.5 degrees Pos. or Neg. Camber plus Caster adjustable – more than enough adjustment to resolve most costly, premature edge tire wear issues. Specially designed for fast fit - without need for wishbone removal.

Also again the security, peace of mind – “retaining the OEM” high strength, forged alloy arms!



FOR REAR SUSPENSION ON ALL MERCEDES MODELS (1968 TO 2020) ALSO CAMBER ADJUSTMENT FOR THE 1ST TIME. Plus with KMAC “extra Toe adjustment” included. Necessary to compensate for the new rear Camber facility.

TWO DESIGNS:

1. Replacement Upper Arms - Precisely “turnbuckle” adjustable. KMAC arms same as front are not welded, fabricated (or soft extruded aluminum) but again as per original – security of high strength forged alloy.

2. Lower arms inner replacement bushings also precisely adjustable – (easily accessible single wrench – adjust accurately under load).

*When wanting to reduce costly, premature, inner edge wear - Upper arm (#1) moves top of tire outwards (reducing clearance to outer fender). While lower arm (#2) moves bottom of tire in.
