60-130mph 13 E63
So ive been waiting months for the right opportunity to do another 60-130mph. When i go to work and back just a tad too much traffic and dont feel comfortable doing it. Today saw a good opportunity no cars front or back for a good distance. It was abnormally windy especially today in cali so it was super sketchy. It was a slight left handed curve on the freeway and decided to go. I started off about 55mph S mode let it down shift on its own and went. Here is the screen shot. I need to get rid of my front spacers they vibrate and shake the car bad after 70mph so thats gonna get tossed. I have Stage 2 Tune but revised i had issues with it not sure if it was dialed back by EC. Blackboost Intake, Catless DP's.

Start at 45-50 in manual mode and you will get better times. For reference my CLS63 with only eurocharged 93 octane dyno tune ran a 7.95 60-130. You have an intake and DPs, you should def be faster than me.

Your 7.95s was with a -1000 DA, that should be mentioned when OP has a +2600 DA. What DA were you at with your same mods and 8.3s or so?

Throw car in amg mode,s+,use pedals to downshift to the right gear at 40-45,and floor it, it will shift on its own alot faster then hitting the wheel pedals (not sure if that's how u did the run)

7.7 is fast thats a great time. Just need better DA, start off at a lower mph. I just purchased a tcu tune and once i install my e gauge get the e tune loaded and hope it runs faster.

People with similar mods as me ran between 7.09 and 7.6.... so lots of room there

Looking at your dragy, the starting mph probably didn't hurt you because there isn't an increase in g-forces starting right at 60. In the ones where it makes an impact, you'll see a low flat period or an upward slope right away as the car comes into boost.
I also don't think the possible let off at the end hurt you - I'm assuming you mean something like "foot-to-the-floor" vs "foot-to-3/4-of-the-way" since it did hit 130. The difference between the time it took to go from 110-120 vs. 120-130 (an extra 0.25s) is normal on these cars & e tunes, and better than many.
I have seen about a 0.1s difference between full tank of gas vs. 1/4 tank.
If you started this in 2nd gear, you may gain another 0.15s or so by starting in 3rd.

Do you have another without those possible limitations then?

Here's a similarly modded 2015 e63S, 1/4 tank, spare removed... perfect technique... black boost added to this one however and prior he was pulling 7.3

however, all my best times were using the technique described above. When I just floor it while in S+ the car is always .4-.5 slower. Maybe that's just mine. And even worse (.8-.9) when grabbing 60-130 during a 1/4 mile run. Prob due to heat soak.. But trying to help the OP

Yes DA was negative on my best rubs. 7.95 was -880 DA. 8.23 was -374. I have also run 8.0 in -300.

Hi. With our mods and pump gas in think your AMG should run 60-130mph when continued the 1/4 mile run still under 8s. And just 60-130mph run it should run something like 7.5-7.7s. Based on my Dragy runs with similar set-up mods but my car is CLS550 SB with M157 turbos and supporting mods like you.
