My first 2014 cls63 was a silver color. High miles so I traded in for my newer 2014 with 15k miles 3 years ago. Never loved the white. It’s nice but just doesn’t show the lines of the car off imo. Wish I had done this years ago. Well now I’ll keep the car another 2-3 years. Only 47k miles on the clock. Let me know what you think.
Tinted all the windows too. 20% /30%. I went back and forth on blacking out all the chrome. Ended up doing just around the windows. I like the chrome on the rest of the car. Stock Wheels are working pretty well too. Lowered would look even better .....
pics don’t show but it has amazing metallic flakes in it. Color is dark grey satin.
Wow, and they did a great job too. normally i can spot a few of the common wrap traits, but yours looks great.
Did they pull the badges to or cut around?
Looks good. I almost did this with mine in December as I am anticipating adding a bunch of miles over the next couple of years, but the guy ended up just stealing my money and not doing the work. If you are in NOVA and thinking about doing a wrap I can tell you where not to go.
That said, this looks great. I still need to get some protective covering on my car, thanks for the reminder!

Id highly recommend Exotic Vehicle Wraps in Dulles - they do a great job at a fair price.
OP, the car looks great, the color works very well with the CLS body lines! Add some wheel spacers and lower it a little, and it would have some attitude
I'm not a huge fan of matte colors, but this does it for me. Very Very sweet. As said above, I don't see any imperfections anywhere. Thanks for sharing. I love the CLS.. if I changed out me E63, it would be for a CLS for sure.

thanks. I was really happy with it. Took him 11 days and he worked weekends. Pulled badges, headlights , front and rear bumpers , mirrors and antenna on roof. Door handles too.

. I agree. This one is actually a satin so it has decent shine. Really works with this color. The metallic isn’t coming across in the photos like it does in real life. It’s pretty dramatic in the sunlight.

thank you. Wasn’t cheap. I believe we were at $4200 but then I added ceramic coating and tinted windows too.
how often you you really shove three people back there ? 🤔. I almost traded in for a AMG GTR to go next to my C7Z. Figures if we ever really needed more I could just take wife’s X5. Love the CLS though. AWD makes for an amazing DD too.

Thank you. Spacers too ? I was thinking about lowering a little. Would help a lot. Wouldn’t it rub lowered and spacers ?

Frequently actually. I got 3 kiddos and I don't wanna drive the wifes car on every family outing
It seems like a downgrade to get rid of a kid for a CLS. Even an ugly kid is still more attractive than a CLS.
CLS63 ugly ? I get a lot more compliments than I ever did in my e class AMG 🤷♂️ I still like the E63 but they are so much More common. Easily 10-1 vs what i see for cls.
if you cut the back 1/2 of the car off, it wouldn't be ugly
you guys are too funny 😂. The lines are a lot smoother and nicer than e class 🤷♂️ Every single person I know in the real world agrees. Had e class amg for years. I easily get five times more compliments on the cls than I did on the E. E63 are nice too but look like every other e class but with quad exhaust and badges. But please feel free to come in here more just to troll the cls. Sounds like someone who couldnt swing the cls.
some People are so bizarre. Got a new corvette and several older gen owners came in bashing it too. Kind of pathetic really.

Then go post your CLS in the CLS forum, where they give a flying one.

Oh, so, echo chambers are to be considered fact? Afterall, this *is* the E class forum... Maybe stroll over to the correct forum so you can get all of that attention-seeking you want to feel better about yourself: https://mbworld.org/forums/cls63-cls...-c218-c257-68/

There it is. Guy finances a $40k CLS and a $20k Corvette, thinks he's better than everyone.
Kind of pathetic, really.
