Just wondering peoples thoughts. IMO the 2012-2013 e63 wagons are the best looking they have made to date. The interior is a bit ancient admittedly though.

One was parked in my neighborhood over the weekend, Blue exterior. They do look great but then again there was an old mid-2000's CL55 at the water park I thought was sexy. I love them all - blondes, brunettes, redheads etc.

For me personally I wouldn’t have bought my E63 unless it was a 2014-2016. Pretty much anything older than that I’m just not into. E55 included. I mean they are all cool cars don’t get me wrong, but there’s other stuff I’d buy before a pre-facelift car. Just a little too dated for my liking. This front end to me looks very modern for being 7+ model years old.

we are exact opposite! I am coming from a 2020 c43. The modern styling doesn't thrill me. I don't hate or even dislike it. I just dig the older "angle" styling.

Beauty is subjective.
I don't find any of the "modern" Mercedes cars extremely attractive, esp. the interior with the enormous iPad-like digital screen dominating the environment.
Both pre and post-facelift W212's are attractive, with the pre-facelift model looking more aggressive from some angles.

The IPAD is the possibly the worst feature on the W213. The other being a smaller motor (no replacement for displacement). The huge screen makes it more like a video game than anything else, IMO. But, I also understand that it appeals to the younger generations.

Not a fan of the look of the pre-face lift front end, nor am I the actual illumination of those older tech headlights.
The adaptive LEDs and auto high beam of the face lift are as good or better than my new Porsche 991 LED's . I do however, love the sound of the pre-facelift NA 6.3 motors.

I personally like the aggressive angular shapes from the pre-face lift. Either way, can't go wrong with either.
