Cylinder cylinder wall scuffing with pictures...oil additive might help?
Has anyone done a multi-year Blackstone sampling campaign on an M157 and seen wear metals increase, and the engine developed bore scoring/scuffing?
I searched online for this and it appears the question has been asked but, as usual, not answered directly. Thanks for any input.

I think we realize that longer oil changes and boost before warmup were major causes of stuck rings that were not remediated, leading to dirty valves and scoring pr bent rods. This could be exacerbated by improperly installed plugs and dirty injectors causing a hot spray pattern or dry wall.
I know that was not your question, but my experience with these bores. Purchased with 42k and it was using thin oil, no check valves. I immediately moved to 5/40 motul. I did a bunch of maintenance over the years, but nothing odd or extreme beyond the check valves.
