Tire expert needed please

my wheels are on their way. 20x9.5 and 20x10.5. Going with 255/30 for the fronts im pretty sure. for the rears, im in limbo. The car is lowered and I am shooting for close to flush. I recently had 295/25 on the rears, which were also 10.5. I think it was a little too close for comfort and looking for more stretch bc I want to stay pretty low. My last car I had 255/30 on 10.5, it was an Allroad and I was super low bc of the stretch. Im not looking for this aggressive of a stretch, but def more than 295/25.

Options:

285/25
275/25
275/30
265/30

Thank you for your help

I always prefer a vertical sidewall, I don't like it to be stretched or bulged.
On my Ferrari, the OEM wheels come with 265 on a 10-in rim which looks way stretched. I prefer the 285 on the 10.
Are now run a 10.5 inch rim, and a 295 sits perfect, maybe even slightly stretched.
On my cts-v, I had a 295 on a 9,5, it looked pretty good, but slightly bulging.

295 on a 10.5

285 on a 10

295 on a 10.5

265. Vs 285 on a 10

295 on a 9 or 9.5?

So I’m leaning towards 275/30… anyone try this? Would it work/within the % allowances? Not sure rule of thumb is for staggered…

heres 295/25 like a lot are running

no im going to keep the 255/30 fronts, i like that look. Im torn on rears. 285/25 or 275/30. Im afraid 285/25 might be too thin and risk bending wheels.

255/30 fronts

295/25 rears

The reason why Im debating is because my rears WERE et+48, but new wheels are et+45. These pics are before I was lowered, and is pretty flush/tight in the rears with the 295/25. So by my wheel going out a tad more, Im worried ill be rubbing with the same size, therefor looking for one size down for a little stretch/room.

You have answered your own question. Go 285/25. Anything narrower would be narrower than stock and that seems kinda silly to me.

I personally would try to put the meatier tires where ever and when ever is possible. Getting custom mad wheels and then considering 275's, oh man that's not acceptable, definitely not. I would want at least 285's if not 295's.
