Reading the W213 forums is messing me up.

I ventured over there and man there’s some sweet wagons, cars with sick tunes…
Suddenly I need help staying focused to see mine through to plan.
HELP!!
Also, the 5.5 sounds better to me, the car feels a bit more "raw" as well.
Not saying the 213 is not a nice car - it is a very nice car. Just doesn't quite do it for me. That said, I'd love to have the RWD mode on the 212!
But, better believe if a S213 drops to the price I paid for my S212 ($60k), I'll hop on it in a heartbeat.

I do still <heart> my car!! Maybe I'll just get a new style steering wheel to modernize the interior a bit and be happy.

what repairs cost $100k in warranty coverage?
I have been seeing the rear mains , intercooler sensor , some software updates on the 213s. Is there more ? Definitely more cost effective keeping the 212 right now ,agree.

Not quite the rumble of the 5.5, but nasty in it’s own way (especially in S+), and absolutely brutal in performance.
Can’t go wrong on either platform. Still miss the rear end lines of the W212 (not sure what MB was thinking on this with the W213).
End of the day, both great platforms. Perhaps I am nostalgic, but nothing screams German muscle to me like the lines of the W212….Iconic.
w213 will likely be my next venture as the rs6 is a wagon (no thanks, no disrespect) and the m5 looks.... Bahahahahhaha ... nuff said about m5; and Tesla plaid is soul less
Driving to many of us is emotion and AMG captures the sensory and tactile part of that.
Hard to say what the future holds for AMG, but If you own either a 212 or 213, you are living in good times.
Drive them and enjoy. Life’s too short to let them sit.

I like the steering wheel. Mine is looking and feeling old.
The rear. I like the 213 pre-facelift rear. The 213 facelift rear hasn't grown on me yet, and yeah, it's weird. But I cold totally do a pre-facelift. However then I'd ben missing the newest infosystem, and any hope of getting the cooler AMG sport seats. Argh.
Turbos on top - man it looks so easy to upgrade those puppies.

Things I don't like about my car
Steering wheel
No carbon bits
Rear cupholder still broken
160,000 kms
Man, I need to win the lottery and just get both.

You can fix all of those items on your car other than the mileage. (Especially the rear cupholder... ) The mileage I would wear as a badge of honor. Got to experience that many miles in such a great car!
There are some cool steering wheels out there that both fit the car's interior and help bring it more modern at the same time.

I love my dealer.
I do love my car.
I hope she never sees this thread.
Get one. ASAP.
When I had my old 2014 E63, I thought there was no way MB could improve on this E63 and M157. Man was I wrong. LOL

Had a 2005 Crossfire SRT convertible that was incredibly fast, highest I hit was 145 for miles across the plains following a 911 but still can't fathom the 63
