Selling modded or stock
on the bright side, I think you 100% made the right decision to scoop a new allocation. Locked yourself into another 10 years of driving awesomeness.
unfortunately I don’t have much useful input to offer on selling with or without mods. My personal experience is that I have never bought a modded car before until this one, but I was lured in after researching reliability and concluding odds of blowing the engine were relatively low compared to other platforms. All I can really say is that I’ll probably eventually buy a black boost intake, so if you’re parting that out locally please pm me.
have you considered posting on bring a trailer? I feel that may be the way to get the most enthusiast eyeballs on it. Or here on the message boards.
also, I note both kbb and AutoTrader’s estimates came in WAY below current asking prices for e92 m3s when I was shopping for one recently. Frankly, I’m not sure if that’s a function of the difference between asking and sale prices or if their algorithms focus on long term trends (instead of focusing on current prices). When I hit up a guys saying he was way beyond those prices he replied that there are no clean cars in their ranges and he was right.
You're guaranteed to be in front of at least few of the 100 people @kenneyd mentioned, I certainly was one of them before my purchase

Detailer it taking the 100s of pics today I hope he has good light
Will throw it up on BAT I think and see what happens.

Let's see what happens, they are getting back to me within three days.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

No one has contacted me yet
I stuck a forsale sign on it on the end of my driveway and already got text offered 3x what the dealer offered - dude's coming buy to check it out more as I was away for the weekend. So if he's fast enough BAT may lose out if they are too slow getting back to me. I'm not advertising it anywhere else or BAT won't list it, wonder if a sign on my car on the driveway counts. SO yeah, still waiting to see what BAT says about the reserve amount I chose.... I hear they like to haggle on that.

This is a turn of events. I worked hard on the submission, too. Even paid a detailer and photographer to take all the pics. I just asked for feedback on why. I wonder if they will answer. I've seen super ****ty cars on BAT. Mine is awesome. What gives?

That's ok no rush.

There's a number of other auction sites now - probably the biggest is Cars & Bids. You could try that one out as well?

I believe Doug Demuro sold Cars and Bids just a couple months ago. I think he still runs it though.
