… what point are you trying to make? Drop shipping is different. It is a parts reseller… go on and try organizing to make $200 parts. Ill be the first to buy it.

Your ideas are so erratic and just noise at this point. Lots of unvalidated info you don’t even bother fact checking
Sure thing, bud.

Agreed. I was only using that in my example because many Americans are willing to pay more for American made stuff (whether it's better or not) but more importantly, once that's the supply chain, it WILL be substantially more expensive to produce (and thus should cost more). I wasn't saying 100% American made is a guarantee of quality, it's only a guarantee of high expense to produce. Therefore, the price would have to reflect that.

Why bother with catch can? I personally don't believe $600 is reasonable. Walnut blasting is not rocket science. You can totally do it at your garage with $300 investment in tools. Do it every 40k or so should be good enough.

Thats a lot of work to do every 40000 miles maybe double that and it’s more livable. Usually a catch can will slow down the need for that job that involves taking the manifold apart. If the catch can is good it would prevent it outright but I would still do carbon clean since these engines are D.I. THEN install the catch can. Also the bolts and gaskets that need to be replaced will account for something. Then youre leaving it up to the parts to be hopefully in stock. God forbid they’re backordered or NLA.

Were beating a dead horse here…

2007 e350 sport. 2010 350 4matic sport. Worlds first W212 E63R self built.
Preventative maintenance goes a long way, there's no right way. Keep in mind catch cans do more then just slow down the build up. They do provide some aid in octane rating, removing a good amount of oil condensation that other wise would travel through your intake system adding heat lowering octane. I agree, no matter what at some Point the valves will need to be cleaned again. Which may not be as easy as one may think. if you have never touched an m157 Please don't assume it's as easy as you think. All your fuel lines will need to be removed, which means you need to make sure your ready for this type of mess. All your intercooler lines that sit on top and that lead to the heat exchangers need to be removed, which means now you have to bleed your intercooler system after your back together, which if you have never done this I promise you removing that small air bubble that loves to stick around keeping your cwa pump from turning on since it's sensitive to pressure is not a walk in the park without the proper tools, and even then a pain and a mess. I'm not done, your intake and your intercooler will have to come out together which means you might as well take them apart clean the intake the intercooler and your throttle body as well. There's more but I think you get the point. I personally think cans are well worth the time money and effort, the amount of oil I've captured in just 3500 miles I'd be willing to pay double. But I absolutely respect the person that rather just do wallnut blasting, I'm just giving you my opinion and a heads up on what you will be looking at when choosing an option.
