Is there a drain plug on MCT wet clutch pack?
Hi folks,
I'm planning a ATF change and got confused about the procedure. My tranny is 722.971 with MCT, should be the same as W212 E63s. When I went to WIS, it still said Drain ATF from torque converter for transmission 722.9 with drain screw on torque converter.
Problem is, we all know MCT does not have torque converter, but this bullet point is still in my WIS.
Multiple C63s owners with 722.9 MCT said they did no find "torque converter" drain plug when they change ATF.
I'm wondering if anyone finds the drain plug during the oil change.

Did my trans fluid today. Can confirm there is no drain plug for MCT pack. My car (S63 coupe) doesn't even have the service access to the MCT pack.
Pumped in about 7L, drained out a half liter or so.
Overall very easy job, but need the patience to wait for the tranny to cool down.

I too did mine last month. No drain plug at trq converter. Drained pan, removed pan, replaced filter, installed pan and trq to spec. Filled 7qts, turned it on and monitored temp of 114 was reached, let rest of excess fluid drain out, went through some gears (plastic level nipple inside pan sets the limit of how much fluid goes in and comes out), replaced crush washer and new drain bolt(old bolts were plastic, new ones are metal)
