2014 Mercedes Benz e63s
W212 e63s shredded another belt

Hi,
I have a 2014 e63s Wagon. Just went through my 2nd belt in 3 weeks Not sure what’s going on. The AC has been acting a little different, was curious what could be causing this.

Randomly while I’m driving something starts squeaking/squealing along with the rpm’s as would if there was an old belt on.

kinda stumped, any advice is definitely appreciated.

I've only run into this with another car, but worth checking if alternator pulley clutch is stuck and needs replacing:

Check your water pump pulley. They have a tendency of backing out over time causing belt to slip off or rip. Seems common with higher mileage car's, 50k plus

Can confirm the water pump pulley backing out. I'm approaching 100k on my E63S and had the front end work done. The pulley for the water pump was off by a couple of ribs on the belt despite every other pulley being up to spec.
