What's with brake rotor price increases?

Has anyone else noticed the price in brembo rotors going up by roughly 50% in the last 2-3 weeks or so? I had these in my cart on FCP Euro and was just waiting to finally pull the trigger. When I went to check out, noticed the hefty price increase. Checked Autohaus and saw they were the 50% lower price so figured I would just buy them from Autohaus but days later the same thing happened on there. Is this increased pricing from Brembo being pushed down to vendors or something else? I understand inflation affecting things everywhere but this seems a little crazy. I haven't watched the zimmerman replacements for my E63 as closely so not sure if the same has happened for these.

It's happening all around us, some
Markets getting hit harder than others.

My front rotors might be due for a replacement after a track day and tail of dragon trip and luckly I got them from fcp, but looks like il have to cough up some more money to swap them

Yes, it's unfortunately happening with everything. It's creating perverse incentives for people to "panic buy" things now, as opposed to when they really need them, because they are afraid the price will have shot up.

@Mojo20032004 Did FCP change their policy? What do you mean you will have to pay some money to get the rotors replaced through them? (Full disclosure: I bought my current set of rotors through them, but, admittedly, haven't tried to get the "free replacement" guarantee yet.)

Brembo or Oem?
If the price wasn’t the factor.

On their website under the lifetime free replacement guarantee. I purchased rotors when they were 384 a pop, now they sell well over 600 each

Just checked Brembo's website which still has them listed for $479.95 each. Within a few dollars of what FCP and Autohaus were selling them for previously.

they sure do. I have them on my car as do other members. The eBay "does this fit" is inaccurate; but this isn't my argument to make I have them and they work well and I was happy with the price. Best of luck.
