W212 E63 - M157 Coolant temperature
Need a bit of help. I have 2013 W212 E63 with an M157 engine. I live in Asia, hence the temperatures are pretty hot and humid here in the current months. I have recently noticed that the coolant temperature hovers between 93 and 94C in normal driving, before it used to be around 92C, and the oil temperature goes up to 105-107C. Is this normal? Furthermore the oil temp goes up to 115-120C with a bit of spirited driving.
Any feedback on this would be appreciated, please.
Regards,
TASY.

The IC display shows happy numbers. The true coolant temps actually tracks the true oil temp.
Use a scanner to collect true temp data from ECU.
What favorite oil do you run in your country?

Double check SP rating for low calcium pre-ignition control.
The all time favorite ZDDP additive is now lower and complemented by boron + molybdenum for non-ferrous bonding.

I have an OBD interface and always monitor this and a few other sensors.
All normal what you explain.
I'm also unplugged. Since than, my water temps don't reach 108+ anymore.
