Do our cars have two coolant temp sensors? Mine is a 2014 S trim.
I was monitoring IATs in the heat we're getting and noticed my coolant temp via OBD readout on my scan tool was staying around 106-107 deg C, while the dash display and gauge show closer to 90 deg C. That's a 25 degree difference in fahrenheit... I doubt many of you monitor scan tools on a regular basis, but I'd be curious if anyone else has seen the same thing?
Oh wow, thanks @PeterUbers , apparently my searching skills were exceptionally lacking today and typical parts sites just list 'temp sensor' as if there is only one. I'll grab a drink and read through that technical second thread you listed
