Day ruined!
So, driving down the road and I notice it....the worst thing! My side bolsters in my seat are not blowing up on corners....no lumbar, no massage.....

Since its multiple functions, are you sure its not the pump or controller? Im with you in that its a very easy repair, in general.

I am going about addressing this hazard in a different way. I don’t use those features, so I am hoping they last longer from non use, than from regular use. I might even try a 3rd option of exercise them occasionally, just so they don’t become stuck in their resting position.

the bolsters are one of the nicest things about the car. getting hugs from your amazing car really boosts the soul.

Did you see the Car and Driver review of the new S where they complained about...and turned it off? Silliness.
Befitting an S-class, the cabin is large and sumptuous. The front seats are supremely comfortable—once we disabled the active inflatable side bolsters that irritatingly pressed into our ribs at every hint of a corner.

Nope. The issue in my GLS was simply age of the hose. Use or no use, the hose will get age. Many systems prefer to be used as compared to never used (ebrake is a great example). I will see today (probably) what it takes to repair it. I already have the hose from the repair of the GLS.

I always though the pneumatic bolsters were to compensate for the lack of an ABC suspension.
