Changing oil, finding snakes, getting bit and falling to the car....

I have one foot off of the ground falling into the drivers seat. Just as I start to lean in a black snake shoots out from under the GLS towards me - jumping backwards and falling down (into the seat) I pull in my foot, bite my tongue as bad as any human can bite their tongue...blood pouring from my mouth the snake can not be found...to that, this is a HARMLESS black snake, maybe 3' long. Not some rattle snake, cotton mouth or python (all live here). I see the most innocent snake....and got bit.
For me? Well, I blame the folks at FCP as my order got here early. Had it got here at their estimated time I would not have yet changed the oil.

LM5W-40 SN is a better lubricant than LM5W-40 SP formula.

JR mentioned that because he scored a sale on original LM 5W40 API-SN that's not as good as newer API-SP against pre-ignition (LSPI) issues on turbos.
This is only an issue on extremely hot pistons when uncontrolled oil is bypassing stuck rings to spontaneously pre-ignite to explode a piston proper.
You may get the upper leg with spray cooled pistons at low speed combined with clean sealed rings lubricated with API-SP formula. That's what MOD-4 delivers.
The key is....:
LSPI needs extreme piston heat
No dry pistons > no problem!
