Water pump replacement and noticed two different coolants

I see. that would make sense. Are there any docs out there on how to burp the system?

Things have changed over the years… This is from Mercedes, to a large dealer network with hundreds of locations. This has been posted on their wall for three years due to the constant confusion…What a dealer does and what you can buy at an auto store to diy bring different solutions to the same question.

Since I have a 2010 M272 engine I use the Zerex G48 50/50 pre-mix coolant. I can get the Zerex cheap at my local Napa auto parts store. I use the 50/50 because my house tap water isnt the best, leaves water spots on my car after washing so I dont feel comfortable putting it in the cooling system.
As for using the Peak brand European antifreeze I would use it if I couldnt find any other coolant that has the specific MB spec listed. The only spec i can find listed on the Peak info is astm spec.
