+1 lol all of us that had E55's know the headache of having airmatic on all 4 corners airnott will become your friend lol... hopefully the airmatic has improved in the last 10yrs though

If Mercedes wanted to improve customer satisfaction, they should put an extended warranty on the airmatic shocks on all vehicles with it. If Arnott can offer lifetime warranty on their shocks, Mercedes should at least be able to say 100k miles. They want to claim "the best or nothing"... put your money where your mouth is.

Looks like it'll easily hit $150K with options... lol I did click the $15K Edition 1 option... lol.
Then there is a $3K, $6K and $12K Intelligent Drive option...

Started playing around with some of the options and came up with some interesting findings around the Edition 1 package...

Here is a breakdown of all of the options included with the Edition 1 package (made this an image file to retain the formatting):



Everything so far, makes sense... sum of the parts equals (approximately) the package price of 15,291.50 euros...

The interesting part is the designo night black magno paint. The paint is only available with the Edition 1 package (unlike the designo selenite magno which can be optioned with or without the Edition 1 package). When you add it to the Edition 1 options, there is a 2,737.00 euros change on top of the Edition 1 package (15,291.50 euros) which already includes the 3,332.00 euros change for the designo selenite magno).

So basically, if you want the designo night black magno paint, you are going to be paying 6,069.00 euros for it

It should be interesting to see how this works out in the U.S. and the rest of the world.

I just cant get past the rear-end, it looks so feminine. The interior is really nice though, Im sure the drivetrain and transmission will be a nice upgrade along with the weight reduction.

Ill be keeping my facelift w212 while I await the w213 facelift in a few years. Hell the facelift may come out in 2019, Im sure AMG is reading all the comments about the ugly rear end.

The w204 facelift looks better than the current w205 as well on the exterior, Mercedes needs to get more aggressive with their recent designs.

the rear certainly does look pretty ordinary. Facelift for W213 in 2019 ? wishful thinking. If the life cycle trend repeats itself, it's more like 2021 as MY2022

I don't see how a facelift will fix the problem. Usually they don't change the rear much, they focus more on the front end and besides for the weak rear the overall shape of entire car looks less aggressive than w212 anyway.

I've seen it in metal, looks much better than pictures!

Not sure if its for me though...

The face-lift usually don't change drastically - Light updated on the lights and interior.
