one thing from the video that doesnt really compute to me is that if its going 0-100 kph in 3.24 and to 200kph (124mph) in 10.83 then in theory we have a car that does 1/4 in the upper 10 sec range, but only does 100-200 kph in 7.59 sec? that 100-200 time doesnt match with a upper 10 sec car ... tune only w212 e63s are doing 100-200 under 7 sec but have hard time getting in the 10s so that video's numbers (either the 0-200 or the 0-100 ) seem off
Yes, the whole video/article is shady to me. That's why in my last comment I wrote about the DCT and just said hmmm(lol), we all now that the new w213 E63 will have an MCT. Good eyes/observation in spotting the differences in times posted compared to real world numbers.
Also, 6 tenths faster than the previous model with only a 30hp bump??? Come on

here is an interesting vid i found time matching acceleration against the current audi rs7.... seems like the new e63s doesnt catch up to the rs7 until 140kph or so...

those numbers are off. Looks like from this link it's more like low-mid 11s for 0-200km/h

hey amg63 I have a question I tried answering for my self. I've been doing extensive research on if and why and where are the resonators located on a 2000 cl500? It's making me go bananas up in here since all I wanna do is remove them to get a different sound to my vehicle but at the same time still be able to pass emissions. I'm getting mixed results. I'll send you a diagram of a few photos. Thanks amg

From @Xstatic video, it shows 0-200km/hr in about 11 seconds (based on the the 1:14 mark to 1:25 mark). 100 - 200km/hr in about 8 seconds (1:17 to 1:25 mark). It seems to be okay and have decent performance to me.
Are you guys expecting in the sub 7 sec or even in the 6 sec range (100-200km/hr) ?

From a roll the 100-200 time is always gonna be faster than from a stop. I think when people reference the 100-200 times they are speaking about starting from 0-200.
Also makes sense it's doing 8.5s as it falls in line with its 0-200km of 11.9s found in the test below

watch the way he got 7.8 right before that. It was done starting from 60 not from 0.

either way new w213 shouldn't be running same as it has much more breath up top from bigger twin scroll turbos ...

Doesnt Matter... look at the rpm on both runs at 60mph... about 4500 in both so the engine is starting at same exact powerband both runs .... it's apples to apples ... 7.8 was his best 8.5 was probably heatsoaked after few runs ....

@Xstatic, did your dealer have any further info. on pricing & ordering guide out now ?
I called a bunch of GTA MB dealers at the end of April and nobody has a clue of the wagon pricing, ordering and arrival. My dealer does not even bother to reply my email. LOL. I guess they are tired of asking MB Canada for update.

I just went over the configuration today with my SA for the wagon. He was going to call me, as he just got a build date of 12/20 for the wagon. I was hoping to get it before the winter, but looks like I'll have it by early spring. SA said 6 weeks, if the build date holds.
