Just out of interest keen to see who would be getting the AMG coupe if they decided on releasing one. I know I'm keen if it happens
The sedan is a monster... however like the C63s AMG sedan the E63s is lacking something that they rectified in the new coupe - Maybe they will do the same for the E.
I'd consider it. (But then my wife who hasn't had a new car since my last multiple ones will see that they make a convertible and say......NOOOO. I want to wait and see one first.)
But I wouldn't be trying to decided between a G class or a coupe. Haha

Keeping fingers crossed as I'm not sure this variant is confirmed or not, we will know for sure by mid to late next year.
AMG have definitely confirmed an E43 coupe which I believe they will christen the E50 as part of their 50th anniversary next year, but no official word yet on an E63 coupe.

I just came back from MB after having the 3,000kms diff oil change they have not confirmed the coupe... and they don't think they will
Must say feeling pretty pissed after all the initial excitement after the release of the sedan, a coupe would've been a totally epic and total package vehicle and for me the perfect vehicle to own

This is just a repeat of info from Autocar. I would be very surprised if you don't see an AMG version, considering there was a quote year or so ago that AMG stated that they were kicking themselves for not having a AMG E coupe in the current generation. So I think it will come in due time

I hope your correct even if it's still a long while away I can wait...
If it does eventuate it should be by the 3rd or 4th quarter of next year or at least reliable word of it confirmed by that time otherwise I'll move onto a mid life updated C63 coupe or my wifes 1st choice for a new car the new LC500 coupe.
I have a close friend who works for MB and he's currently in Affalterbach, when he returns I'll pick his brain and see if he can shed some light on the topic.

However I can only reveal what he allows me to reveal, there's a lot going on that I know about but cannot advertise it for obvious reasons, I hope there's some good and useful info I can share on the new E coupe ie. if it's going to exist at all he's due back by the end of this month
