Canada - MB winter setup

I have tried again to see what MB OEM winter setup they have for our E63. Dealer is still showing no package at all and they don't even know if there will be one coming this winter. As an alternative, the only suggestion they have is to piece together, wheels, tpms, tires and then discount them by around 10-15% as their best option to those who are looking. It will be very pricey though.

If anyone is interested in getting mb oem wheels, there is this 19" which I had previously mentioned in other threads.

Front: A21340126007X21 19 x 9.5 et 25 Grey accent Titanium Cdn MSRP $1100 + taxes / Cdn Discounted at dealer $935 ea. + taxes Wheel only.
Rear: A21340146007X21 19 x 9.5 et 52 Grey accent Titanium Cdn MSRP $1100 + taxes / Cdn Discounted at dealer $935 ea. + taxes Wheel only

As for tires, you can go with 255/40/19 or 265/40/19 of your choice

* 255 series
Bridgestone Blizzak LM32
Pirelli Sotto 3
Conti 850P
Yokoham W.Drive Bluearth V905
Nokian Hakka R2

*265 series
Michelin PA4
Conti 830P

Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4MATIC+ 2018
My dealer ordered a set of 5 x 255/35R20 (1 spare for a now disp.) square Hakka 9 for all his E63 S. I will go for that on the OEM wheels for winter and put the PS4 on a nice set of summer wheels next spring.

2019 E63s
I went with

275/35/20 102v Pirelli winter SottoZero II which should work just fine at all four corners. I was thinking about the 255’s but thought they would be a bit of a stretch on the 10” wide rears... I got a deal on them I couldn’t pass up...

when I was doing the research, there are not enough information whether they will be okay or not. But since these are only for applicable to just E63 and E63S, I would believe they should be okay with ceramic brakes since they are also found on the configuration guide.

We've test fitted an E63 already with Carbon Ceramics. 19" wheels will clear the brakes they just have to be made by an aftermarket wheel company like HRE that know what they're doing.

Winter Tires Dilemna

I have a 2018 AMG E43 with the stock 20" wheels RTO and Pirelli summer tires.
I'm looking to buy the 19" RTE wheels and all season tires for winter but my dealer says nothing is showing up to order.
Any suggestions?

How bad is to use the forged rims that came with the edition 1 in winter and just use winter tires???

these could save lots of money.

totally a personal preference. If your city uses lots of sand and salt to clear the roads, then just make sure you clean them off once a week. The forged rims are strong enough to some extent but with you having 30/35 series winter tires (on 20") and potential exposure to lots of potholes in your daily drive, it can be troublesome.

Well, I kept my '14 wagon out of the snow, but would at least like to have the option of some winter wheels for the next one. My order is with CCB, which I'm reluctant to remove as the red breaks have 1-piston rear breaks... not for me on a wagon.

I am in constant communication with HRE's engineers so if there is a specific model that you would like to know if it will clear the CCB's in 19" then just shoot an email my way.

Thanks, but not willing to pay $2400 a wheel for winter driving.. $10k will buy me a lot of tire changes... Maybe if you had wheels at $700-1000 then I would consider.

For that $600 - $800 range, hre does have flow form (FF series) but I believe they have yet test fitted into our w213 e63. I would buy if it does not need spacers and it’s hub centric

Update : for Canada

A MB dealer has informed me that MB Canada will have the above wheels & Michelin PA4 (265 series) as their standard 19" winter offering. It seems the package will be assembled in Canada, not in Europe. Right now, they are running into Michelin PA4 supply issue and they don't know when the supply will be brought in (best guess is early December).

As for the price offering, MB Burlington has informed me the package, which includes everything (installed and 1 free year of tire storage) is $5,675 + taxes.

E63S Wagon Floor Mats

Has anyone found rubber floor mats/trays to fit the E63S Wagon? WeatherTech does not have the wagon as one of their 2018 body styles. Is the front floor the same on the 2018 E63S Wagon as the Sedan?
