E63s deliveries in North America?
#102
I know my E63s is sitting in the Brunswick, GA port since May and Irma has done some serious damage to Brunswick and the surrounding area along the cost of GA. Just looking on google maps the MB Brunswick port location sits right on and is surrounded by what looks like marsh land that I would assume is very prone to flooding. Has anybody heard an specifics on flooding at the port area where the cars are kept? Anybody else's vehicles sitting in Brunswick?

Dealer called this morning to advise the car will not be delivered until the 3rd week in October at the earliest. He said the vehicle has been certified but MB is doing an EPA related software upgrade. He was advised not to give out an exact time at this point.

go fast grocery getter wagon
.. that may mean the wagon could be delivered around the same time as the sedan. Mine is finishing production this week and it's scheduled for delivery in last week of October or 1st week of November

Same story except for the date commitment. I was told that it has been certified (as confirmed already 2 weeks ago) and is now pending the software upgrade. No ETA was given.

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
Interesting, did you get a chance to try it out over bumpy roads? I'm still wondering about he ride quality if it's better or worse than the 212's because my 2012 sure rode pretty badly over this crappy New England Roads. I had problems with bent rims too, I'm hoping with the new Forged Rims I'm getting on the 213 this won't be issue, should be much stronger than the 10 spoke wheels on my old 212.

I just talk to my dealer. Delivery expected before the end of October. The car is certified. He told me that they must replace an electronic part. They are waiting for this piece from Germany.
I do not know if the information is 100% reliable but this is the most recent information I have from Mercedes Canada.

whether it's parts or software revision, the cars can still be released and shipped to the dealers and be held there, rather than sitting at ports. Just saying.
