Wondering how I should have my car shipped back from Germany. Could have it sent to my local dealer here in So Cal, or to a dealer on the East coast, then fly out to pick it up there and drive back to CA.
I have about a zillion frequent flier miles, so not a big deal for me to fly to go pick it up.

Not that I'd plan some Cannon Ball run to get it back to So Cal, but it's got to be a lot faster than the going by boat.
Once did Fairfax, VA to San Diego in 56 hours in rental truck with governor set to 65 MPH, aught to be able to do a bit better in this. Be a nice chance to try out the autonomous driving features. Bet I would be a lot less fatigued in the E63 than the rental truck

I know with BMW you can take delivery after you do ED at their Performance delivery center.
Will discuss with him when he returns from vacation.
If that's the case I am out and will re-order for spring..No point in getting the car for winter.
This is the biggest **** show I have seen with a new car
thanks
