E63s deliveries in North America?
Hey, I ordered my E63s (Canvasite Blue, Premium, Driver's, etc) in December. Original build date March 10 and invoice date April 25. However, on April 12, a "delay" was sent to dealership. Has anyone heard anything? Thanks...

I ordered mine in January. Original build date first decade of May. Just today heard build date is May 18th. But dealer says they still don't know pricing or release date. But in 17 days my car will be in production.

How did you get the order placed? I've been waiting for a while for my dealer to open the ordering window.
I saw the car at the LA auto show but didn't get a chance to sit in it at that time. I'm in Geneva this week on travel and stopped by a local dealer and was able to sit in the car play around in the interior a bit.
Very anxious to get the car on order. Would like to do a European delivery if the timing works out.

I thought it of very high quality and did not have a cheap feel at all.
I live in the US in Southern California but travel frequently and am in Geneva this week.
BTW, with the options listed, the price listed on a paper I found in the car was 174,000 CHF.

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
All the salesmen have dice in their desk drawers they roll when you go to pick up your car Seriously, I heard pricing will not be out for a while according to my dealer, I dunno if he was just referring to the wagon or both the wagon and the sedan. Those that come into port I hope they don't hold them up for a while waiting for the pricing, that would be depressing for those that await these cars.

E63W4S on Order
Hello,
I have a sedan on order, with a projected delivery in October. Also, I have no price. This is very strange, to have a vehicle on order and no one knows how much it costs. I understand the MSRP cost may not be out, but I'm sure someone knows the dealer or invoice cost? Does anyone know if the dealers in the US have their pricing?
Cheers to all,

From the AMG private lounge forum:
"The current anticipated release date for these vehicles is sometime in the 3rd quarter of 2017 and once we have a better indication of timing as it evolves, will communicate once more. "
This is for the USA. My car is scheduled to build next week. I don't get it. Why make us wait?

go fast grocery getter wagon
wow. for some, the cars will simply sit in the open environment (dirt, pollutants, sun, etc.) for many months then. I am not so sure i would want this if my order is like this.

Not my toy yet.
Saw the car at the LA auto show earlier this year but didn't get to sit in it at that time. So this trip to Geneva was the first chance to do so.
I was happy enough with the feel of the finish. Mainly wanted to feel the standard seats. Will be a daily driver so want some comfort, but will take it for drives in the nearby mountains so a sporty feel is good too. I thought the standard seats would probably be fine for me versus the sport seats, though it would be nice to try out the sport seats too.
Contacted my dealer again and he now says he can order the car. Sent me a copy of the DOG and I'll probably go in this week and put in the order.

I'm curious which dealer are you dealing with. I'm in the same situation as you. My car was produced in April. It's been in Halifax for about 2 weeks...i'm told late june early july for the delivery...

Went to my dealer last night and put in an order for a European delivery, nominally in the late July timeframe. Will pin down the date in a few weeks when the system does its thing.
Hope to have pricing info around the same time.
First time I've bought a car with no idea how much it's really going to cost.

Ordered mine about two weeks ago in the US with second decade May build and apparent end of June mid July anticipated delivery. Am frankly frustrated with MB about the amount of uncertainty regarding delivery and pricing. Actually ordered a fully loaded E43(planned on a 24 month lease with hopeful move into an E63s after 18months) back in February as I my current lease end of an M5 didnt seem to give enough time to wait for the E63s. Was scheduled for first April and then May delivery. May comes around and I inquired with SA only to find that the car was never built and got pushed to 18 model year and August delivery. Arghh!!! Thinking this now opened my options for E63s I ordered only to find the same runaround from MB seems to be occurring. Havent had any definitive word on production or delivery delay but I am waiting to hear the bad news! IMOH MB could handle this stuff much better knowing that they have vehicles produced and in port. At least some solid information to its loyal customers would be useful.

To clarify regarding the European delivery in my previous post. This is the MB European delivery program for US customers.
This is a US homologated car that I order and purchase in the US. Pick it up in Germany, drive it around on vacation for a couple of weeks then drop back of at MB and they deliver it to my dealer in the US a month or two later.
The plus is that I save the rental car fee on my vacation and get to drive the car on the autobahn. The minus is that I then have to go through withdrawal pains for a while till the car makes it to the US.
