Love the w213 e63, haven't had an AMG since 2006 e55 Kleemann stage 3. What a difference 10 years makes! Just got Xpel Stealth coverage done, can't even tell.
Entire car is wrapped in Stealth, with Ultimate on the shiny parts. Looks factory, no I can relax a little bit with the matte paint. The Mango paints do looks amazing in person. I want to drive it through winter.
Car arrived yesterday and received these photos from my SA. Not sure I'm loving the silver. Hopefully it look better in person. Disappointed that the night option looks wrong without the privacy glass and I may have to install tinted film to make it right. What are Mercedes thinking?? Bit underwhelmed.
[QUOTE=luoskywalker;7312916]On the wagon the Iridium silver looks great. I order mine in Designo Diamond White, Good luck,[/QUOTE
funny, I wanted to change to diamond white but it was too late. I just drove my wagon on Tuesday and can't wait to get back into it without the Mercedes SA, just me with all the gadgets. Although I had to be nice to the engine it had real poke and the ride quality was surprisingly good. Its currently in the shop getting privacy tints (don't know why I have to pay twice) on the rear and a front wrap. When do you expect to get yours?

Interesting, I did not know that. I've been using the parking assist quite a lot here in Europe, but not the parking pilot feature with the phone because I figured that was part of the connect features that are turned off till I get to the States. I would have asked them more about this at delivery time when I picked the car up had I known.
Dropped the car off this afternoon and fly back to the states tomorrow morning. Then five or six weeks to wait till the car shows up. Maybe they'll have enabled the feature by then.
One a related note, they were saying the US cars don't get the multi-beam LED headlights, but my car has them (and they're pretty darn cool). Maybe there's a different even better version for European versions, or maybe they'll swap them out at the VPC. I hope not.

My SA tells me that the LED lights in the US are different. For example the rear LEDs in the EU get brighter the harder you press on the pedal but not here in the US. I only picked up the car today so slowly figuring out whats missing/different from what was marketed. Wish Mercedes did a better job explaining this but got hand it to them, they r excellent at taking your money.

the Multibeam headlights, which consist of three rows of LEDs that cycle on and off to give maximum luminance. In Europe and other markets these beams can cut out the area of an oncoming car and leave the brights on elsewhere. North America gets the LED cluster but are stuck with the high/low setting dictated by our country's regulations.

So in the US we blind on coming traffic and not maximize visibility at night! crazy

So does anyone know what we (in the US) get for $1500 in the advanced lighting package?
