Edition1 in port -- what to request when I pick up
Hi guys,
So I am assuming the end of the wait is near. With that said, many of the edition1 cars have been sitting for quite a while. What should I ask for in regard to maintenance? ie: flushing/replacing oil, or other fluids?
Thoughts? I am not too worried, just want to know logical approach to this.
Thanks!

replace gas for sure.
Battery (ability to hold charge) should also be checked out or replaced, if necessary.
replace brake rotors & hubs (assuming it had been rusted for a real long time)
you will have the check the leather seats for any sign of heat related cracking/aging

Dealers aren't gonna change a bunch of things because the car sat for a few months...
If the brakes are rusted, sure they can be replaced. The tires can be flatspotted, but it tends to affect certain tires more than others.
We've had cars on the lot for an entire year and nothing happens. This is a lot of panic about nothing. Get the car, drive it, and enjoy. It's not old and worn out because it sat for 4 months.

Obviously that's my own way of looking at this, after all, if this is a $20,000 Honda Civic , I could not care too much. This is a $120,000+ car and it's my hard earned $ which I want the car in pristine condition when delivered
if dealer says they will not consider at all, then I can simply cancel my order completely. no loss for them, no loss for me.
