Sport+ Jumpy Acceleration- Glitch or feature

So much fun driving the beast. I know everyone is enjoying theirs as well. The build quality is superb, as one would expect.
The one issue I have is that, in Sport+ especially, when taking off from the line, the acceleration is jumpy. If I hit the pedal in the least aggressively, it totally lurches and backs off, lurches, backs off. Revs up and down, up and down. Like a bucking bronco. It corrects at slightly higher speeds, but off the line I have to ease off the pedal to keep it from lurching. Is this a glitch or a feature? Anyone else?

I do know that sport plus enhances the throttle but I dont have any sort of bucking or lurching feel. Compared to my tuned C63S, the throttle is rather tame and needs a heavy press to get ripping. I also do not have the up and down rev'ing... maybe a software issue?

Yeah that seems like a glitch. I only get a slight lurching if I’m in sport plus and there is a large bump or really uneven pavement right when taking off the line. Other than that like Vic said you need to lay in the throttle.

This is well known on the W212 ... jerky acceleration

some people never tolerate it (the mct) and most let their foot learn how to modulate the accelerator to avoid that

stop and go with s+ is like a bucking bronco

Mine does it as well, minus the up and down rev'ing.
I would categorize it more as "eager".
It feels likes sport + has the "Sprint booster" installed on my old w212 63

Think it has to do with how dialed back Comfort Mode is that when you get back into to Sport + it lurches much more.
in short I think its my right foot thats the problem,

This used to happen in my M3 before I learned to keep my foot down. You press down on gas pedal and as the car goes forward you are pushed back and if you do not compensate for this your foot goes back off the gas a bit and you slow down and you move forward and your foot pushes the gas harder again. You must compensate and bend your ankle more as you are pushed backwards upon initial acceleration.

Seems like a reasonable explanation. Sort of the reverse of whisky throttle on motorcycles . . .

There the sudden acceleration can cause people who are unprepared to shift rearwards, causing their wrist to open the throttle further.

Happens of course on high powered sport bikes, but surprisingly for some, very easily on Trials bikes. They don't have a seat and they're operated from a standing position. The bikes are light weight and have surprisingly good acceleration so will tend to move forward easily under the rider if they're not ready for it, thus inducing the the condition above. Have been a number of fairly serious injuries to people just trying them out".

Anyway FWIW, I didn't notice any jerky acceleration or lurching with my W213 in Sport+ mode.
