I went the Benzworks route with oem sensor adjustment and have zero issues.
This is my car with spacers at sport+ ride height, zero rubbing on rough roads.
Once it's set there is no need for any other adjustments, all oem height functions raise/lower with the push of a button..

It does, yes. Thanks.

This module does the same thing as manipulating the links, just electronically. Lowering links are manually adjustable and your adjustment is likely done with spacers or some creative adjustment. Works but you are set to your specific drop. The module does the same, but via comand and touchpad. Module is never installed, only during adjustment. So you can lower/raise to your liking. Unplug, done.

Raising the car manually or lowering at speed is the same.

Cool pic of your wagon! Question, the front looks lower than the rear on your setup. Is that on purpose?

I bought one last week once Orenlasko indicated that it worked, even though I don't even have a damn car yet! I figured that the price may go up a little, but either way, to me, the adjustability factor vs. the lowering links or mechanical adjustment is advantageous. I would have even bought the rip-off Renntech module, but now I don't need to!!

Thanks,
Ride height is 26 1/2" front 26 5/8" rear measuring from the fender lip to ground. Set on purpose, ride height is set with engine running due to the car lowering when off..
The are "no adjustment links added or spacers needed". Just a simple rotation of the sensor to set the desired height...All oem functions are intact, raising/lower at speed or a push of the dash button..

It was little time consuming to set the desired height but a great way for me to understand the engineering involved...

I like the idea of the module route. My understanding is that the lower you go, the more it effects ride quality (not sure first hand because mine is still stock). While I'll be totally fine with that most of the time, it would be good to have the ability to quickly raise the base ride height for long road trips or days where you want a quiet and smooth ride. I don't know if the raise button sustains the higher ride height for these scenarios.

With the sensor adjustment ride comfort is OEM, ride quality is not affected in any way. For long road trips the Mercedes idea is to lower the car at speed for better aerodynamics.

Well this sucks--it appears my dongle is defective. I've tried every permutation of starting the car with one press and two presses but I never see the diagnostics screen. Does anyone have any magic advice to offer (beyond asking for a replacement)?

From what I’ve read, you aren’t supposed to start the car. Foot off the brake and one press to just turn on the ignition. That or two presses but foot off the brake.

Yeah, I was on WhatsApp with the guy and we tried each and every permutation. I don't think I ever pressed the brake. I got it to work once but can't repro those steps so he's refunded me for now and will let me know if/when they identify root cause.

Regardless, it's a good product and his customer service is exceptional. Fingers crossed he figures it out...

There is something going on with mine too. It worked great the first day and then started acting up. I'm referring to the use of the connector. It will only come on on the display sometimes. He recommended pressing the start button twice and then waiting around 30 seconds, then installing the connector while depressing the gas pedal. That seems to work but only intermittently. So I suspect something is going on with his programming. Let's see what happens the next time I try to connect it. I'm at -15mm in the front and -20mm in the rear now. The car looked too low in the front when at 20/20mm...

Has anyone tried Lomo1:

http://loweringmodule.com/mercedes/e.../new-category/

i just got it for MY17 S63, but αm trawling so haven’t had α chance to get it install.

The best part for me is that you can do the adjustment right on your steering wheel without α tablet and all 4 corners can be adjusted independently.

I'd buy Renntech for Renntech money!

The Interface is totally different, so I would say no.

However, you can lower it with about 50 cents worth of washers!

Add spacers for a wider track and lower center of gravity is the way to better cornering..

Which spacers are you guys running? And from where are you buying?

Not 100% clear to me, but can someone verify:

Lowering, for example by 20mm F+R - in comfort setting car will ride same as stock height? or will it ride firmer?

I'm assuming you mean spacers for an E63S (W213). If so and per Vic55, my spacer setup followed Vic's: 15mm fronts and 12mm rears from Supreme Power in Fullerton, CA.

Having lowered my car, it's definitely firmer than it was and I've actually bottomed out once or twice at speed on undulating roads. I think I went down 20 and 20 but I'm not sure since the device kinda stopped working so I left it as-is...

I'm at -15mm front and -20mm rear and have the same spacer setup with 15mm front and 12mm rear. My car seems to ride reasonably well all things considered.
