I watched with baited breath...
Both cars are absolute monsters. There are infinite variables here like fuel, drivers etc. It’s nice to see that they are basically almost identically performance wise in a straight line...
I can say having had a w213 with Iron brakes and now having CCB, the difference is night and day... I’m stoked for summer rubber next week and a brake fluid change to Endless 650 then off to the track...
I would love a tune but I just can’t wrap my mind around $3000 CAD...
Have a great weekend everyone!

This is the best yet, a real world side by side run and they are so close. Im a BMW fanboy too having had 8 M's but Im sure the boys at Mpost will argue this up and then say "wait for the competition package" LOL.
Benz, just selling their best E class up front.

Yeah I caught that on an earlier thread which has the C&D post. Whats glaring for me is the weight difference yet the E63S moves better at higher speeds or at least holds its own.

California pump gas is so bad. All of my BMWs had issues with knock on 91. The only fix was to mix in some race gas for a ~94 octane blend. Not cheap or practical if you daily your car more than a few miles.

And to top if off, we get to pay extra for the privilege of the crappy gas. There's a move afoot to repeal the gas tax increase, but Gov. Brown has vowed to fight that even though there were enough signatures gathered to get it put on the ballot.
I think San Diego has about the highest prices in the country. One reason I heard for this was a claim of higher distribution costs, but no idea whether that's true or not. Seems like it's always a fair bit lower priced whenever I head up north of Camp Pendleton.

Either San Diego or the Bay Area have that dubious honor. We are typically $1 more per gallon than the rest of the nation. Then we have our winter oxygenated gas, and then the summer blend, and then when there is a refinery problem, the prices go up because no other refineries produce our wonderful gas. Although, our gas is still less expensive than parts of Europe!!

Sounds all to familiar.
