E63s va F90 M5
I beat him 3 out of 4. The one I lost is when I hesitated and let off the throttle as it was rolling. I’ve had all these cars like Vic55. The AWD makes a big difference as it puts the power down. Even took on a Z05 modded and lost by half length. We ran up to 140 in Mexico. Very happy overall. Here’s some bad vids.

Good to hear that there are more real world experiences out here. There is a video over at M5Post where the M5 takes the win from a dig. Its that close that whoever drives their car better will get a win.
FYI, I fixed your title to "F" 90 as the new M5 is under that descriptor unlike its "lessor" 5 series friends.
Man I love all this M vs AMG stuff and I am not just an AMG lover having run some amazing M's myself over the years:
2002 E39 M5
2003 E46 M3
2007 E63 M6
2009 E92 M3
2013 F10 M5
2013 F13 M6
2016 F10 M5
2016 F82 M4
And while the newer M's all get better and faster, the hands down best car for the time (under the M line) I had it was the VENERABLE E39 M5.... But I have to say in the current battles I think the performance, interior, and sound all mated up gives the E the current but highly subjective ever so slight advantage.

[QUOTE=FlyAmg;7414989]Absolutely yes. I did not use launch control just race mode and mash. I don't think he did either.
All I know this car puts the power down really well. The F10 said his wheels was spinning in 3rd and 4th gear.[/

so the f10 with all that power and only rwd couldn’t hook up, this is why the awd in these cars are so important as all that extra power and it still got walked
the f90 was interesting but what happened? It seems like he was way way behind in both races, then from the dig he won
How close would you say it is between these two?

I was set on Race and D.I would say our is faster by average of a car length. We ran up to about 120-140.

seems like he lost because of driver error in shifting.
Did you do do any clean runs with full auto shifting in both cars??

Finally got to see the new M5 at my local dealer. Standard issue black/black $112k sticker. The performance and driving experience must be insane to make up the for the boring exterior and interior. Nothing extraordinary inside or out compared to previous F10, average person won't be able to tell F10/F90 apart. Seat comfort and interior ergonomics identical to previous car. The 5 spoke BBS wheels really made the previous M5. Will be an excellent value once the initial craze dies down and market is flooded just like previous gen. I have no doubt it is amazing to drive.
