Glad they found the issue. They may want to change the trans fluid too, I'm sure they will. It could not have been too healthy for it running at those kinds of temps. Good luck. So many things on these to go wrong.
No,they told me that was a some cooling tube conection.But when i pick up y AMG and back to my hause the temperature go up and the coolong liquid going out again like a firts time.The liquid is from the litlle cooling circle,from the second cooling tank under the engine tap,whos cooling turbos and gearbox.

And what was the problem ?? This little pump solved it ?? Asking because today I had same issue and someone told me to exchange this one

trans temp went to 248F.
car is CPO, have an appt set up to take in.
anyone else have a different experience with this?
Been driving the car normal - after 45 minutes to an hour of driving, temp steadily increases and fans are blowing non-stop.

I'm almost 99% sure a rock or debris punctured your heat exchanger core for the trans cooler. The leak is causing inadequate cooling and your temps are spiking, it's happened here before to plenty of people.
Mine overheats been in a few times can't find an issue! just clicked 30k so going in friday for trans oil change LSD oil change and all the rest etc hoping this will fix the issue! seen posts on here for different fixes leaks, pump, oil level etc! £1200 for 30k service
hi all, Just would like to ask a simple yet important question that may be the reason my 2017 e63s transmission is overheating in comfort mode. I took my car to the dealer for a radiator grill protector recall. got the car back and noticed a little bit of smoke coming out of the engine. poped the hood and saw nothing major so didn't think anything of it.
After the next few days, drove it around and noticed the transmission is getting quite hot in normal traffic conditions. no hard loading or anything stress full for the car. got home inspected the radiators not a leak out of them. coolant bottle was full to the brim. I then took off the AMG engine cover and noticed there is a bottle with a coolant cap on it also. I opened it up and its extremly low.
Just wanted to ask is this an over flow of the main coolant bottle or a seperate system that maybe in charge of cooling the transmission? I checked on my friends e63s and his bottle is full so im hoping its just as simple as topping up.
Also car is no longer under warranty so I any remedy from Benz is going to cost me a limb at best.
Yu sadly, and the worst part is that I have to wait 10 days for the part to arrive from Germany,
did you happen to get the problem resolved, if so what did you replace, mine just started doing this recently want to see if that’s what was wrong with mine. Thanks in advance
