'19 E63S Wagon; '16 Porsche GT4; '19 Cadillac Escalade
I have a production date!
My 2019 wagon now has a production date. It is July 20, 2018. Very excited!

Is it safe for me to assume a delivery by end of September?

They told you exactly 7/20/18?

Or 7/2D/18–meaning second Decade of July?

I received a production date on my EDP order last year - 10/10/2017.

Might be that they get more specific on those as someone is traveling to Europe to pick up the car on a specific date.

Ah, good call. It was indeed "2D" I though the "D" was a "O". I assume "second decade" means second half of July?

No problem.

A “decade” is a 10 day period per month. So
MB divides a month into 3 decades. 2D means second 10 day window of the month.

I've got an order in as well for a sedan, and was given 18/06-2 for the decade, and 06/13/2018 for the production date. Just got a VIN today as well.
