The Last U.S. Delivered 2018 with New Shoes!

Actually, I don't know whether this is actually the last one, but it made a nice title and I don't believe there are any later 2018's on this forum. This was built the second decade of May, and was finally delivered to me last Tuesday, after being hung up in the VPC since early June. Anyone with a later build for a 2018?

The new shoes are Brixton Forged R10D's. It took over 3 months to have them machined and delivered to me, but I had these before the vehicle.

Sorry for the badly lit photos.

Those wheels are beautiful. Are they 20 or 21 ?

if your center cap has the red accent ring (which I have seen in the net), I think it will add a nice touch and compliment with the gold caliper

Nice. Are you lowered on the eBay/Amazon lowering module? All you need is some spacers for the wheels.

Thanks! They are 20's, 20 x 11 and 20 x 9.5. I thought about 21's, but I was worried about the ride a little. I was actually thinking about a yellow/gold accent ring to match the caliper, but we will see!

Thanks! The Ebay module. I had bought this a while ago, even though I didn't have a car yet. So long ago that I found out I was his 5th purchaser, and he is sending me another one with updated coding. The one I have now, the screen only comes up intermittently.

I requested more aggressive off-sets. I forget what the are, but if I recall, the rears were +50? I think the rear is fine, but the fronts could definitely be more filled out for me!

Stock fronts are 20x9.5 ET 25 and rears are 20x10 ET 55 so with 11's you gained about 12.5 in ET and I run a 12mm spacer on the stock ET50 with the 10's.

Looks good- maybe push a spacer in the front?

Yeah, the rears looks pretty flushed with it lowered and the front, maybe 8mm so it doesn’t rub against the front fenders especially with the hills in the Bay Area. Looks nice nonetheless. Have fun with her.

I forgot to mention that I would like to thank Steve at Euro Germantown for all his great service. Last Sept./October I could not get an allocation from my local Mercedes dealership even here in the Bay Area for over 3 months. Steve helped me out and has been great! Without his work getting my car out of the VPC, it would probably still be there awaiting the carbon fiber spoiler!

I found out that my front off-set is 11. I think I will push it out a little more. I will probably raise the rear a tad to be more in line with the front level.

Congrats on the car! Looks hot.

+1 on Steve. Steve is great! Im in the process of getting into an AMG and have been pestering him with some newbie questions, as this is my first time around the AMG world. He's responsive and patient.

I still love these Brixton forged wheels. I always change my wheels from OEM, just for a change, and have traditionally bought HRE's but I really didn't like their current offerings this time for some reason.

Still looks good! Looking at these makes my wait even harder. Also, I can't understand with the night package why MB doesn't black out that chrome strip on the trunk.

I agree! I did wrap the chrome strip and the door handles with a satin finish wrap to match the finish of the front grille piece, however.

I'm very happy with the Selenite Grey metallic color. In Magno finish, dust that accumulates over the course of a few days isn't really obvious. The car just sparkles a little less but doesn't look dirty. It's only when you wipe off part of the car that you really notice it.

I think you would have fallen in love with HRE's private label ANRKY. Their AN33 comes to mind.

They are beautiful, but too late! Also, no more modulars for me. Bent too many with such low profile tires just hitting potholes, etc.

No worries, they come in lightweight monoblock too. Maybe next time
