Refreshed E already coming out
Seems the refreshed E is already coming out despite folks still not being able to get their 2019s yet.

"already" the E came out in 2017 in the US.. should be a minor refresh for the sedan and wagon soon.. 2020 or 2021, maybe another year for coupe/cabs... generally 3 years and then a refresh then another 3 years and then a redesigned car..
Granted the ML/GLE has been 2012-2019... but thats why 19 is a short short run..I could order 2019 GLE's for 3 months and then poof... the C sedan also ran mostly unchanged from 2015-2018... so maybe now its 4 years and then 3 as a refresh..

Would really like to see MB reduce the weight of the E63 , both the sedan and wagon. This alone would make for better handling and even quicker acceleration (not to mention better MPG).

Just thought of something. It's not that MB has any issues making the cars and building them on time. It's regulations holding the cars at ports etc.
Does this mean that there will be a huge influx of cars by the Spring of 2019 where a lot of dealers will have excess inventory on their lots???

any idea if the AMG Drive Unit (steering wheel) will be on the 2020's / Face lift?

Which means a late 2020 launch in the US as a 2021. So everyone's getting bent out of shape about a face-lift three years into a model's life, two years from now. That said, it will take some doing to improve on how much I like the look of the current car.
