The PS4S probably looks wider than this Potenza at the rear, having 10.3" tread width as opposed to 10.1". But good looking regardless.

I'm not sure how to see the difference of .2", but I would be interested in the difference in the contact patch for both tires. There was a good article on TireRack.com that discussed the differences in measurement techniques for tread width on rounded shoulder tires. It would also seem that the sidewalls on the new tires are more in line with the edge of the rim than the PS4. Those seemed to overhang the wheel by a good bit. I saw on another website that the preferred wheel width for the PS4 in the 295-30/R20 size was 10.5" whereas the OEM rims are 10.0". The Bridgestone's show 10.0" as the preferred size which makes sense as the tread is a bit narrower. However, the aspect ratio of both tires is 295 so the rim specs should be the same I would think.

BTW, I've noticed that I can feel that the tires develop flat spotting when driving off from the cooler weather after sitting overnight in the garage. This goes away in about 1 mile or so and I'm accustomed to that from other tires in the past. Interesting that I didn't feel this with the PS4 probably because the sidewalls were not as stiff. Anyway, it was 30 degrees here this AM so I'm glad that I got the tires changed out this week.

I have put on about ~450 miles on these tires now, and yes I agree with you - the tires develop flat spotting in cold weather - and not even after over night parking - if you warm up the tires and park for few hours, that too causes flat spotting. The vibration does disappear after about 1-2 miles of driving. This is the only complaint I have with this tire - kind of annoying. But I guess for the price point and overall performance, one can't really complain.

It's the nylon belts that are the issue. I could feel the PS4s doing the same thing, but the temperature was warmer so not as pronounced.
