So looks like I might be getting delivery sooner than I expected, Was told my car would be build second decade but it got build and is sitting at port already lol. Now just wait, but got in touch with my PPF guy and only thing I am really stuck on is how to deal with the front plate. I dont want to drill into the bumper, and wont use the plate holder in the towing slot since it screws with the sensors. Going no plates in NY would be okay for awhile since my route to work has no cops 99% of the time. Just wanted to know how some of you guys dealt with this issue. Is there any other way of putting on plates with out these two options?

The car did have the Euro front plate mounted when I picked it up in Germany, but that didn't drill in to the bumper.
The US plate holder has a clip in the middle that inserts into the bumper, but that doesn't seem secure enough to hold it for more than a fix-it ticket inspection. For longer term use some double side tape might be an option rather than drilling. I have been keeping my front plate mounted to the bracket in the trunk just in case I got stopped, but I think I'm going to pull it out pretty soon. It's been a year and no problem.
I've heard of some people getting one of those electric front plate holders where you can switch between having the plate tucked hidden under your front bumper or have it come out if you see a cop or something by the switch of a button. Don't 'have experience with them but it may be an option you can look into.
Hand up for no plate.
I've had like two dozen cars in California since 1973 and never a front plate. You can guess how many tickets I got in my S65. The missing front plate never came up. I think the dealer has me sign a release. There is so damned much paperwork when you get a new car, I'm not really sure.

Hmmm, the wife got a ticket at LAX for no front license plate on an Arizona car. Arizona doesn't require a front plate, and for that matter we can tint our front side windows too
After 10+ years of no issues I finally got pulled over and ticketed for no front license plate on my 911 here in Houston. I wasn't speeding and the cop specifically pulled me over to ticket me for no front plate. It's happened to multiple people at work over the past 6 months. It was a $120 citation and I paid it off but it was still extremely annoying. I reluctantly decided to get front plates on both my cars as a result. I did not want to drill holes in the front of the car and the asymmetry of the tow hook mount would drive me insane so I ended up getting these low profile brackets from Skene Design that do the job pretty well. The install was a 30 minute diy and not too difficult to do - the only trick is to adjust the height so its not blocking the front camera or the center grille. I did have to drill small holes on the underside of a part of the front (the horizontal bit right above the center grille) but it's way better than the giant visible holes the OEM bracket would require. Here's a picture of the final result.
When I was stationed in Grand Forks, North Dakota back in the early 90's, over a period of 5 years I was pulled over AND ticketed at least 10 times. They were very cheap tickets, at least back then, but definitely a nuisance.
