Nope, earlier in this thread, I think it was you (im not gonna search on the cell) that asked for a link to a fast M5. The one I posted was the same car you just posted but it occurred earlier in the M5 life cycle with just MS and a JB- it was 10.3 but trapped faster than the same car doing 10.2. No biggie just sayin.

So what’s the conclusion here, is jb4 better than full ecu tune or not for the w213 e63s?

even if the CPC torque limit gets solved / maybe a TCU flash gets done (i’ve heard nothing about this so far), I am hearing nothing about E85 / hybrid turbos that are worthwhile
maybe 1 or 2 people running meth
maybe it will all change in 6 months; we will see

I carw more about limits on stock turbos and it seems both platforms are the same with best results coming from tune, decat, air filters.
Good thing about w213 is mod to mod on stock turbos it is significantly faster and it’s got less of those stupid torque limiters in the TCU.

Mopes3 is such a baller that the car is a LEASE and he’s trying to have someone else take it over before he gets absolutely dragged by MBUSA. Lmfao. I just saw the post on Insta, hate followed him after reading this thread. All comes out in the end.

lmfao! I’ve come across some douchebags on social media but that guy wins first prize by a long shot! If some poor idiot does take over that lease at least it will be super low miles since it’s been broken down most of its life.

lol what did that reject do to break down a solid car as a w213 e63s

found somebody with special xentry/vediamo/tuning knowledge that turned off a bunch of clutch pressure plate setting **** that you don’t want to turn off to try to get around the torque limiter to the point where he twisted **** inside of the transmission multiple times (aka most likely $40k in the toilet for 2 trannys plus labor)

yup that makes sense.
Everybody also i see complains about the lag off the line on the w212 M157, which are the torque limiters causing that problem. If they cannot be reduced (probably can’t reduce too much) reliably, the only choice is to accept it.

how many people are willing to remove built in torque limits on their car? that’s asking for trouble i feel like
anybody know if the m5 zf8 has a TCU flash out yet?

there are people who work for the big tuning companies working on cracking them but if i had to guess, it probably doesn’t make a ton of sense financially to invest the resources

thats why I said they need to find out the safe limits on the reliability on doing a TCU tune for the M157 platform.
The lag off off the line really holds back so much potential from these older cars. If not for that, the 2014 e63 can keep up with an 18 no problem.
If a company can show it was tested with proven reliability I think a lot of people here would shoot for it.

Too bad it’s NYC and someone will actually be retarded enough to take over that lease. The motor has been rebuilt, who knows what’s happened to the trans, it’s got a bottle in the trunk, bigger turbos, like WTF dude you did that to a lease???
