Tyre pressure too low?

Hi, I’ve been driving along for last couple of months, not really paying much attention to tyre pressure because it is in kpa and I always have used psi or bar before!

So I did the conversion when the car is cold and it’s quite low! Front 36 psi, rear 34 psi.

Anyone think that is too low?

That's about what my car came with when delivered in Germany - maybe closer to 38 PSI front, but was in the 36 PSI range when cold in the 30 deg F weather we had after delivery. Rear were in the 34 range. I survived the two weeks with no problems.

The pressure chart on the gas cap door says 41 PSI front and 33 PSI rear for normal driving speeds and with driver and one passenger. Since getting the car back in the States I've tried to keep the pressures pretty close to the 41/33 values. Rides fine for the most part as far as I'm concerned.

So, seems like your front are a little low and the rear are just fine.

go fast grocery getter wagon
36psi square (cold setting) for winter & summer. Works to my liking. Everyone is going to have a different setting to their liking.

Thanks guys, I’ll try a few settings and see what it’s like.

Mind, I’m going to get winter tyres ASAP but will use these settings.

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
Ya, 36 all around if it's cold is a good number, when the tires are warm it's gonna be more like 39 then anyhow.

I like 40 front and 33 rear. Any less in the front and the front end tends to wander around for me at speed.
