Problems with AWE Exhaust

Problems with AWE Exhaust
I recently installed the AWE exhaust on my car. It has the remote control H-valve since I do not have the performance exhaust. From the first drive of the car, I heard a very noticeable rattle. I could only hear it with the windows down when the valve was in the closed positiion. I can hear it up to speeds of about 40-45mph.
I contacted AWE and they recommended that I take it back to the shop to make sure there were no contact points or exhaust leaks.....none. The shop also confirmed my suspicion that it was the H-valve that was rattling. It makes perfect sense. Cannot hear the noise then the valve is open. At higher speeds (ie higher exhaust flow) the pressure is great enough to keep it closed. But at lower speeds the turbulence of the air crossing the H valve causes to flap to rattle.
Now here is the problem.....AWE has agreed to send me a replacement section of the exhaust but they are adamantly refusing to cover any labor to replace their defective piece. I think this is complete BS! I have already been inconvenience by wasting my time to take the car back to the shop multiple times. I dont think I should be on the hook for the additional costs to remove and replace their defective part. Am I being unreasonable???

Damn AWE, crappy customer service. These are premium parts for premium cars. Make it right. Thanks for posting and helping the rest of us decide where to spend our money.

Yeah. Ill try PM him. The person who I was emailing with had absolutely zero interest in trying to do the right thing or even acknowledge their responsibility in the matter and my inconvenience.

Personal opinion, but I do not see a parts maker paying labor for you just cos you bought their part. You kind of take on that responsibility when you go aftermarket regardless of the cost of said part. Decades of modifying cars and I have not heard of a part supplier paying for labor cos something went wrong on the part
