maybe it isn’t worth the time or it isn’t possible
i know the ECU tune is at address 8400200 and is 0xFE00 bytes long
you need MED1775 seed/key algorithm which isn’t hard to get
but the A2L file for the values in the tune is either super expensive/super black market/super hush hush, or you’re re-using the A2L for C63s/AMG GT car

i’m curious why nobody is selling TCU software for this car

I’m the only person who has done this retrofit in the US. All in, I’m at about $12K for the lights, Xentry hardware, tablet, and legit access to Daimler systems. I also have a few colleagues in engineering who helped update my VIN and make the car no longer a US model.
This is nowhere near plug and play. And no plug-in module exists. The 213 chassis is very different from the CLA.

Can you answer a simple question: is this stock Euro model imported as used car to the US?

I find the US version to be useful only if there's a reasonable amount of traffic and/or some light in the area. On very dark, empty roads, I'm always twisting the light switch to manual because the automatic feature is too slow to switch to the brights. It seems reflection off a sign will cause it to dim and it takes too long to switch back to bright. Is this a characteristic of the US version or do the fully intelligent European lights suffer the same limitation?

There are videos of the Euro version in operation. It creates a hole in the light pattern when necessary, such as for an oncoming car or for a reflective street sign. The hole moves as necessary to keep the bright lights off the object in question.

I've seen them, of course. So I guess there's no concept of "low-beams" at all? It either blanks out a few LEDs or it's all on. We need that!
