Especially when cold, this ceramic composite material will resonate during braking and
potentially feel less responsive under light brake pressure but with no loss in braking power.

I guess they put that disclaimer in there in case someone complains but I've driven my E63 wagon with CCBs in weather from 20 below to the mid-90s and haven't heard a peep from the brakes.
FWIW there are way more threads about squeaking steel brakes than CCBs on here.
Another wrinkle to consider is that allocations with CCBs are limited, only 4-5 E63s per week built with them last I heard.
