2019 Mercedes AMG E53 2002 Mercedes C-Coupe Kompressor
Greetings
Long time lurker, first time poster...just wanted to say hello.
Took delivery of my brand new 2019 E53 on Thursday, absolutely loving it. Iridium Silver with the Night Package. Very hard to stay within the break-in parameters, but so fay so good.
I will try not to ask too many stupid questions, I have tried to read as much as possible before asking, in fact it was through this forum that I finally made the decision to buy this particular vehicle.
Thanks for listening.

Thanks is looks great. Do you mind saying what state? I can look up the lowest percent allowed which is probably what was used... As it looks pretty dark but not too dark - I think I want my windows to look about like that. Thank you.

Oh yeah, duh.
I apologize for my error. Obviously my state must be confusion
I live in Texas. I would be happy to check on the actual percentage numbers for you. Let me know.

Perfect. We are shipping the car to TEXAS (Austin). Yeah, the legal limit for the front sides is no darker than 25%. Looks to me like you have 30 or 35 all the way around. Yesterday I just got my white wagon done in 20% around the back but held off on what to do with the front sides because it is illegal in Germany to tint the front sides at all. A few day before we ship the car we will do the front sides... I originally wanted a unitform look (all windows the same), but think 20% all around will be too dark for the front sides and I want to follow the law, so i will probably do 35% on the front sides. Seems a lot of the tint related posts also opt for 35% / 20%... Thanks again.
