stealth hitch feedback
Thinking of purchasing and installing on our E63s wagon. Those who have, still happy with it? Any concerns/problems? Especially with the cut rear diffuser?
Thanks in advance for the feedback, Sean

I think the pics here answer this question but....with the stealth hitch, does the hitch-mount bike rack make the sensors go crazy?
I'm sure it screams when reversing, but do the sensors get tripped at other times...eg sitting at a stoplight...
PS JODE that skiguard is NICE. I am running the same rack. I plasti-dipped the thule endcaps to lose the white logo.

Cool
Will do - but is my lowly e450 all terrain allowed in the hallowed AMG grounds?
I crave the 63s but also love to beat the snowplows up the pass after storms...those couple inches of clearance matter....

^^^awesome.
Anyone have a lead on a good stealth hitch installer in Norcal? I tried the guys SH recommended but haven't heard back from them. Not quite up for DIY'ing mine in terms of risk of screw-ups.

I'm not expecting (or wanting) to open the sunroof, but when you open the pano shade and it automatically vents up, does that hit the box?

This looks brilliant! Thanks for posting. I have the same colour E53 and am wondering if there is likely to be any difference in the rear undercarriage. Stealth have never fitted one and don't know. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

This looks terrific and is the same colour as my E53. MB are reluctant to compare E63 with E53 parts without a VIN. Any chance you can share your VIN with me so I can get them into action and check that the Stealth hitch will be no problem with my E53?

Stealth hitch for 2022 All Terrain
I realize that this is an AMG thread but it seems the definitive thread for adding tow hitches. I contacted Stealth re 2022 E450 All Terrain and wanted to share the response I received.
"Thank you for your interest in Stealth Hitches. We had the 2021-22 E-450 All terrain wagon in and discovered that Mercedes has a rear wheel well trim piece that must come off to access the attachment points for our hitch and they are now using a onetime use trim piece which is very difficult to get off and cost $380.00 each. There is one on each side, so two new pieces would be required. While the old hitch does fit, we do not plan to offer it for the 2021-22 model years due to the difficulty in removing the two trim pieces and the high cost to replace them."

I've got an E53 AMG Coupe scheduled to be built in a few weeks. I've been hoping they would have the hitch available for the car. Unfortunately, nothing yet.
Does anyone know of any other hidden hitches that do work on the 2022 E53 Coupe?

E53 Stealth Hitch
How difficult was it to remove the onetime use pieces? I know my dealer would never do it but I may have someone capable of it.
