How difficult was it to remove the onetime use pieces? I know my dealer would never do it but I may have someone capable of it.
Prior to install, I purchased the piece (left and right) that could potentially break. Just by looking at the part, you can see how the tabs may break if you just yank it off. By removing it slowly, a little at a time, it was not difficult. I also consulted with the MB dealer service tech to gain his experience.

The parts referenced by Stealth were 213-880-63-04-7C45 and 213-880-64-04-7C45 ($332 retail each). Finding out which part Stealth broke was more cumbersome than the removal of the `’onetime” pieces. A reminder that these are the part numbers for a E450 All Terrain.

Did you, hopefully, take any pics while you were doing it? I'd like to see what was involved as far as getting the onetime use pieces off. My guy is a little leery of attempting it. I may have to go in while he's working on it and remove them myself. So I'm responsible if they break. Can't say I blame him.

Thanks
