W213 AMG E63s wheel options other than complete custom.
This is a thread dedicated to wheel options from other vehicles that fit and look good on the W213 AMG E63s. I have seen many other offerings from Mercedes, including 21” wheels from the AMG GT63 as well as even on some SUV’s like the GLC63. Has anyone attempted to fit different wheels, and how do they look. Please post pics so we can all see with specs and where they came from.
Love the car but with all the silver trim, I’m not a fan of the black wheels.

LOL. If it was only that simple. I would consider a trade for the same rims but silver, but this is supposed to be a thread about options for wheels, not the ones I currently have. Have you seen any wheel swaps on the E63s?

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new car, but before ask something I would start to use search button 1st, there is a ton information includes pictures of the car with optional/aftermarket wheels.

They can put any price they want, the thing is if some is going to buy them based on part number price for new rim is $1050 (or a bit more), set of four is $4200. Maximum decent price that people should ask for that they took of the car is $2500.

I’m talking on eBay. I would never sell my stock forged wheels here on this cite. It would be much more prudent for me to keep the original set for winter than to sell them for the prices you are talking about.

I moved to this car from a ‘17 Audi S7. That car I had a separate winter wheel/tire set. I tried the fitment and while not 100%, I thought it was serviceable and fine for our crappy winters here. They’re 20” x 18.5 squared setup. Wheels are cheapo TSW Nurburgring gunmetal finish. I think they were about $300 a pop or so.

HRE R101 Lightweights will fit the W213 E63 with Carbon Ceramic Brakes in 19" sizing.
The E63 has very specific width & offset requirements so there aren't any other Mercedes-Benz models that can have the OEM wheels interchanged. I guess theoretically you can custom build an aftermarket set of wheels with weak fitments that can fit this vehicle and another but fit neither perfectly.

Interesting that you don't like the black wheels with the silver trim. That's the exact build I'm ordering for a 2021 e63 (also lunar blue).
You're saying you would prefer it with night package? Or the silver cross spoke wheels with the regular aluminum trim? The former looks too "racey" for me (with the dark paint you have); and the latter doesn't look aggressive enough. I think your current combo looks great =]

It really is about personal preference, and for me it’s about the flow of accents, and I also like the racy look. The black wheels would have been ok for me had they had a larger silver lip on them or been more aggressive on the shape. The silver doesn’t stand out enough to flow with the rest of the silver in the car. The silver accents on the car it’s self out way the silver on the wheels by quite a bit, and the wheels almost disappear, which I personally don’t like. Many people like that look, but it’s not for me. If the wheels had an aggressive offset and a nice deep dish which added dimension to the car, I would like that, but they are just flat faced and don’t add dimension. The GT63 wheels are a 21, and have more dimension, specially on the rear wheels. I was thinking about getting those, but would have to run a spacer in the rear, and maybe even in the front. That’s why I just spent the extra money on the VELOS XX wheels with the polished lip and Brushed antique copper colored centers. The larger silver lip brings the silver accents of the car together well, and I just happen to like the dark copper color wheels on dark colored cars. I imagine that is way to racy for your taste, but we all have our preferences. It is lowered, so it quite racy. But that’s my jam, and the wife likes it, so that’s important.

The Velos XX wheels look perfect on it too, did you go with 20" or 21"?
