Looking to put wider tires on
Getting ready to put new tires on my 2019 e63s next week. I'm tuned with a couple minor hardware changes. Putting down 691 whp. Does anyone have good info on whether or not I can go to 305 in the back? Would I have to change the 265's up front. I'm just worried if this is possible, and I want to make sure that the dimensions are correct as to not screw up the all-wheel. Also, any ideas on tire brands. I'm thinking about sticking with Pirelli Pzero or possibly Michelin 4S. Thanks in advance for any helpful info.

I run 285/30/20 up front on the stock rims..
P4s is the tire of choice for the E 63s in my opinion..

Thanks for the info. I've done that before another cars that worked well. I will probably take that route. How does it launch with that setup? Did you notice a little better grip?

Im running 305 in the rear and I barely notice a difference between 295 & 305. If you feel a difference its probably placebo

depending on the tire manf sometimes a 305 is actually the same footprint at the 295. Or is so small a difference that its meaningless for performance

I'm curious as to how much this changes the look of how the tire sits on the rim which -- I assume is OEM 20". @izzy63 , any chance you could post a close-up pic of what a 305 tire looks like on it from a couple of different angles?
are you asking if it looks taut? Im running aftermarket rims size 20x11 as opposed to 20x10 (stock) in the rear but I highly doubt you would see a difference between 305 and 295 from a aesthetic point of view

I have a wagon too and I’m looking for perfect figment without affecting the AWD sensors. I came across the Avant Garde AGL43 wheel and came up with this setup: Front 21x10 Offset 12 and Rear 21x11 Offset 48. Do you mind sharing your setup and post more pics of the front and back? Thanks a lot.
