3.27 is solid! My 0-60 on my 1/4 mile run last weekend was 2.97 so not great but I also have Sottozero Serie II on right now. I’m usually in 2.8 range with my PS4S.
I am looking for a good place to do some runs with our M8 Comp coupe once it gets warmer. Have been doing this by Carver Park but its too risky.
Perhaps we can connect one of these days if you are up for it...

Admittedly am not spending time on FB but I checked out a couple of groups plus PL. Crickets on PL and other forums. Overall, the quality of this forum is excellent and by far the most active Mercedes forum anywhere. We had a similar discussion on the GT forum and there is nothing that matches MBWorld.
My only wish would be that Mercedes or AMG would actually actively participate on here. An engineer or two could fill a lot of blanks on issues and gain a lot of insight/improvement ideas.

i think that's one of the biggest "benefits" of BMS/JB4. they are in the forums asking questions + reading tuning logs.

for what it's worth, i don't think i've ever seen a BMW or ///M engineer on bimmerpost

i agree though. a lot of my arguments have come because we have to interpret secrets about the platform. would be nice to hear it from the horse's mouth

No kidding. For vendors there is some of the best intel out here. True also on Bimmerpost. Manufacturers could learn a lot. Especially about their crappy software...

There would of course be a downside if MB/AMG were officially on here if you get my drift! no pun intended

OP, my E63 EC stage 1 tune only does 60-130 is 8.04 seconds. 60-120 was 6.44 seconds. This was in S+ and started at ~58mph in some high way traffic. Race mode and clear highways starting around 40mph in 3rd I know it can do better.

I'll have to get some re-runs after my catless downpipes /stage 2 ECU and CPC tune install.

This car on stock turbos struggles over 100. 0-100 is blistering but above that it slows significantly. My best 60-130 is 7.2 and that is with stage 2 and CPC also. The other problem is if you upgrade turbos you will have some turbo lag under 4500 rpm. If I were to keep my car I would do the turbo systems ball bearing turbo upgrade.

That's true, it's limited by the size of the turbos and they run out of steam around 120 really fast. It's still a very fast car, and pulls much harder to 5th and 6th gear than my Stage 2 C63s ever did on stock turbos.

After CPC and stage 2 ECU tune, i hope to see the 60-130 in the low 7 second range, I'll be happy. I've yet to get an official 1/4 time, as i can never find any patch of road safe enough to do it on and all the drag strips near me have closed for the season.

Something has to be wrong. My car launches every time consistently with LC and it is always below 3 seconds.

I also had an issue with 3 IC pumps not working properly early in the summer and that was costing me 0.4 second in 1/4 mile and it didn’t throw any codes. My IATS were threw the roof so I knew something was wrong.

You have to log to make sure the car is running properly. I knew I had a boost leak because my boost was only hitting 14-16 lbs. Then I knew I had an issue with my IC pumps because my IATs were over 180 after hard pulls. Important to log because neither issue I had threw a code.

i got the exactly same problem.
air intake temp is so hot!
how did you fixed the issue ?

a proper bleeding or cooling system can resolve that ?

You need to go to a shop that has XENTRY. I avoided the dealer since my car is modified. One of the best local Indy shops has XENTRY so I took it to them. They checked all my IC pumps and all were below spec. They bled the system and rechecked and all was sorted. I still think either my car has an issue or this platform has an issue. I still battle high IATS and I have methanol injection.

after a lot of efforts and hard work. I'm now convinced that our e63 w213 are not giving us performances that we were expected.
maybe thats why Mercedes France sold only 1 e63 in 2020 LOL

anyway do you have idea what can be the reason or high air intake temps ?

did you try to check your temps with ECU stock. Maybe high boost is the reason of that issue

Are there any aftermarket intercooler/heat exchanger upgrades available? I might look into it. It's cold now so my IATs are well in control after hard runs, but I can totally see this heat soaking and pulling timing in summer/hot weather.

I have the Zacmotorsports CF cold air intakes. I was more so asking about larger heat exchangers for the oil and trans coolers. I haven't seen any on the aftermarket yet. Most guys just run meth to keep IATs in check.
