Agreed, but you probably lost more on the depreciation with the sale of the car. If you tend to keep cars for a long time, an extended warranty make sense. It is just an insurance policy against expensive repairs in the future.

help with Fidelity contact info

My local MB dealer had no options for warranty. They recommended I look online. I found notes about Fidelity here. I reached out to the contacts for Fidelity mentioned in posts with no responses as of yet.

keep in mind it is an R230 SL55 AMG so it is not new lol. Maybe I will just "self insure".

I have used Cassandra as well. I have found nobody better for customer service and or price. She was extremely prompt in getting back to me and we did everything over the phone. She can be reached at ccastro@mbofelmbrook.com or 262-821-5000 ext 331.

I also failed to ask if the quote included tax or whether there was tax at all. I will check prices again in another 6 months or so as things can always change...
I got quoted $3850 for 2018 E63s and for 2019 model quote was $6200 for 7-year 75K and $6600 for 7-year 100K. Not sure why there is such a huge difference.

I paid around 2K for 7-year 75K ELW on my 2014 E350.

Considering my 2019 E63s with less than 10k miles already has a fuel leak in one of the cylinders, I think ELW would be wise, but not sure it’s worth $6200.
